Job summary

Sagent Behavioral Health in Red Wing, MN is seeking a Front Office Registration staff to be the first point of contact for patients and referents. This onsite, full-time role handles intake information and scheduling.

Working Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM–4:15 PM, you will guide patients through the enrollment process with professionalism, verify demographics and insurance, and coordinate referrals with clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in health care facilities and an interest in behavioral health is strongly preferred.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Guides patients through the intake process with professionalism and empathy.
• Acts as point of contact for referrals and inquiries; explains services and scheduling.
• Registers new patients by collecting and verifying demographic and insurance information.
• Answers calls and triages inquiries; coordinates scheduling and referrals.
• Collaborates with clinical staff on patient care and scheduling.
• Maintains awareness of trends and needs for new services.
• Handles patient concerns with empathy and patience and liaises with leadership as needed.
