Job summary

Arnold Walter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff at our Holmdel facility. The role supports day-to-day front desk operations with a focus on creating a welcoming environment.

The position offers a PRN schedule (as needed) with shifts from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 4:00 PM–8:00 PM and a pay rate of $15.92 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of receptionist or clerical experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, residents, and staff in a warm and professional manner.
• Answer and direct incoming calls using a multi-line phone system and take accurate messages.
• Monitor and maintain a visitor log for individuals entering and exiting the facility.
• Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and faxing.
• Sort and distribute incoming mail and deliveries.
• Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.
