Functional Restoration Institute is seeking a people-driven team member in Mission Viejo, CA. You will know patients by name, hear their stories, and guide them from the first phone call through care with energy and empathy.
You will manage calls, schedule appointments, and support the front desk to maintain a smooth patient experience. This role emphasizes ownership, reliability, and genuine care in a small practice.
If you want a job where your energy matters, your work matters, and you get to be part of people getting their lives back, this could be a great fit.
We’re a small, two-doctor practice. My wife, Dr. Tara, and I see every patient ourselves, and you would be the third person on our team.
Functional Restoration Institute is a chiropractic sports medicine and functional medicine clinic. Many of our patients come to us after years of seeing specialists, trying different treatments, and being told to “just live with it” or that surgery may be their only option.
This is not a front desk job where you sit behind a counter and check in strangers all day. You’ll know our patients by name. You’ll hear their stories. You’ll see their progress. And you’ll be part of their experience from the first phone call through their care. We want someone who brings energy into the office, enjoys connecting with people, and takes pride in making sure every patient feels taken care of.
You have energy. You like people. And people can feel that when they talk to you.
You’re comfortable picking up the phone and starting a conversation. Some of the people you speak with will be nervous, skeptical, frustrated, in pain, or difficult to reach. You’re not intimidated by that. You know how to connect with people, answer their questions, and make them feel comfortable moving forward.
If you enjoy building trust, helping people, and being part of their progress, you’ll probably love this role.
You’re dependable. We are a three-person team, so everyone matters. We need someone who shows up every day, on time, ready to work, and takes their responsibilities seriously.
You’ve had real work experience. Maybe that’s in sales, hospitality, customer service, healthcare, leadership, or even running your own business. We care much more about how you communicate, how you work, and how much ownership you take than whether you’ve worked in a medical office before.
You’re looking for somewhere you can become an important part of a team, build relationships with the people you see every day, and take pride in being someone others can count on. You do not need a medical background. We can teach you our systems and how our office works. What we cannot teach is energy, ownership, follow-through, reliability, and genuinely caring about people.
There is no manager between you and us. You’ll work directly with the two owners of the practice, so communication and accountability matter.
