We're built on a simple belief: every pup deserves to feel safe, loved, and at home — and every team member plays a real role in making that happen. Our shared ownership program means employees don't just work here, they have a stake in it.

About the role

Greenleaf Pet Resort is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative/Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets. In this role, you will join a collaborative team dedicated to providing exceptional care and outstanding customer service. You'll work closely with pet parents, caretaking staff, grooming, and management to ensure every guest has a welcoming and seamless experience from check-in to check-out. This is a fast-paced position ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, multitasking, and working in a pet-friendly environment.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome clients and their pets with a warm, professional, and friendly attitude.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, schedule reservations, and book appointments.
  • Check guests in and out while ensuring all required information is accurate.
  • Enter and maintain client profiles, vaccination records, and reservation details.
  • Process payments and other monetary transactions accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding reservations, services, and pet care.
  • Provide facility tours and educate clients about available services, amenities, and events.
  • Recommend services that best meet each client's needs while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area.
  • Support daily operations by assisting with administrative tasks and ensuring smooth front desk workflow.
  • Follow company policies and procedures while helping maintain a safe environment for pets, clients, and staff.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, dependable, and passionate about providing outstanding customer service in a pet-focused environment. They thrive in a fast-paced workplace, communicate effectively, and enjoy interacting with both people and dogs.

Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous reception, customer service, hospitality, veterinary, or pet care experience is a plus but not required.
  • Basic computer skills, including email and calendar systems.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Reliable attendance with flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
  • Ability to handle sensitive client interactions with professionalism and empathy.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, squatting, and standing for extended periods.
  • A genuine love of dogs and commitment to providing an exceptional experience for every pet and client.
What to Expect When Applying
  • Phone screening regarding your application.
  • An in-person interview to meet the team, tour the location, and get a glimpse of what your day-to-day will be like.
  • Orientation and training classes covering company policies, procedures, dog body language, and behavior.
What We Offer
