Job summary

Bethel Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a friendly receptionist to be the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors at our Bethel facility. This entry-level, per-diem position offers the opportunity to learn about long-term care while earning and growing with our team.

You will greet visitors, manage calls, and support resident activities, while developing strong communication and office skills in a warm, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred.
• Proficient with office equipment and computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, residents, and families with warmth and professionalism.
• Manage phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and efficiently.
• Receives inquiries and releases information in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Coordinate appointments, meetings, and resident activities.
• Receives newspapers, mail, and gifts for residents.
