Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $22.00/hr

We are seeking a dedicated and professional part-time Front Desk Receptionist to join our Chiropractic office. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a friendly demeanor, and a solid understanding of medical office procedures. You will be the first point of contact, making your role crucial in creating a welcoming environment. We treat our patients as well as our employees as our family and it is very important for you to convey the same to all who enter and call our office.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients with a smile and positive attitude as they arrive. You must be comfortable talking with patients and establishing relationships.
  • Manage incoming calls to schedule appointments and provide information about services offered in our Chiropractic practice.
  • Collecting patient co-payments and bills.
  • Ability to understand insurance cards and plans to explain payment expectations.
  • Provide administrative support including filing and managing records.
  • Ensure compliance with health information management protocols and confidentiality of patient information.
  • Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure all office supplies are stocked.
  • Ability to multi-task as needed and be detail oriented.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a medical office or hospital setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical administrative support functions and office management practices is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
