Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a Patient Service Specialist at our Parkville outpatient facility. You will greet patients, register them, and guide their visit flow, including scheduling and payments.

This role focuses on delivering a positive front-desk experience and coordinating with care teams to support efficient patient care. The position is full-time, located at 6264 Lewis Street, Parkville, MO, with a weekday 8am-5pm schedule and hourly pay in the $18–20 range.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about their visit and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Communicate with attorneys, insurance companies, translation services, and internal teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance verifications.
