Job Description: We are looking for a dependable and professional Front Desk/Night Auditor to join our team. This role is responsible for managing front desk operations during overnight hours, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all guests. Key responsibilities include handling late check-ins and early check-outs, responding to guest needs, and accurately auditing and reconciling the day’s financial transactions.

Additional duties include setting up the continental breakfast area, folding laundry, keeping the front desk and lobby clean and organized, and emptying trash to maintain a neat and sanitary environment. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, detail-focused, and capable of working independently overnight while maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Shift:

Must be available to work 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Flexible availability required, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Front Desk Associate – Job Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner.

Check guests in and out, register them, and assign rooms.

Issue room keys or access cards accurately and securely.

Handle incoming telephone calls and direct them appropriately.

Manage reservations by scheduling, confirming, and canceling bookings as needed.

Process cash and credit card transactions according to company procedures, including posting charges, preparing cashier reports, balancing deposits, and securing assigned funds.

Promote and up-sell rooms when possible to enhance guest experience and maximize hotel revenue.

Collaborate with other team members to assist guests and ensure seamless service.

Respond to guest inquiries about hotel services and local attractions.

Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.

Foster teamwork and maintain high service standards by coordinating daily with other departments.

Perform additional tasks as assigned to support genuine hospitality and uphold Choice Hotel Brand standards.

Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance at all times.

Work independently with minimal to no supervision when required.

Understand that duties may be modified or added at the discretion of management.

Job Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: 0–1 year of related customer service or front desk experience preferred.

Training: On-the-job training provided for the right candidate with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
