Job summary

SPENGA Centerville is looking for a friendly, motivated Front Desk & Membership Sales Associate to greet members, answer questions, and help new visitors feel welcome. This role blends customer service with active membership sales in a fast-paced fitness studio.

You will manage check-ins, bookings, and retail sales, support daily operations, contribute to social media content, and help our community grow through engagement and personalized service.

Qualifications

• Customer service, sales, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to explain membership options and close sales.
• Friendly, confident communication; reliability and punctuality.
• Willingness to learn studio systems and SPENGA processes.

SPENGA Centerville is looking for a friendly, motivated Front Desk & Membership Sales Associate to help members feel welcome and introduce new people to our studio. You’ll be the first hello when someone walks through the door, a helpful resource for our members, and an important part of growing our membership. This is a hands-on customer service and sales role.

Location: SPENGA Centerville

Schedule: Part-time, mornings and evening shifts available

Compensation: $15 - $20 / hr based on experience, commission bonuses, socal media profit sharing

What You’ll Do

• Greet members and guests, assist with check-in and class bookings, and answer questions about the studio.
• Build relationships, learn members’ names, and help new visitors feel comfortable.
• Handle routine member questions and concerns, involving studio leadership when needed.
• Introduce prospective members to SPENGA, explain membership options, and help them choose the right fit.
• Follow up with interested guests and prospective members to encourage visits and membership sign-ups.
• Sell memberships and retail products, and work toward studio sales and retention goals.
• Participate in studio social media content to showcase the SPENGA experience and promote classes, events, and offers.
• Keep the front desk, retail area, and facility clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Help set up and reset studio equipment before and after sessions.
• Communicate with instructors and studio leadership to keep daily operations running smoothly.

• Comfort starting conversations, explaining options, and asking for the sale.
• Reliability, punctuality, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized during busy check-in periods.
• Willingness to learn our memberships, studio systems, and SPENGA approach.
• A team mindset and readiness to help wherever needed.
• Customer service, retail, hospitality, or sales experience is a plus. Previous membership or fitness studio sales experience is especially helpful.

About SPENGA

No personal training, spin, or yoga certification is required. SPENGA combines spin, strength, and yoga in one 60-minute workout. Our members come for the workout and stay for the community—and that experience starts at the front desk.
