Job summary

Excel Fitness is seeking a part-time, on-site team member at the Bellmead club to help maintain a clean, safe environment and provide high-quality member service. You will use the Planet Fitness app, input member data, balance cash drawers, and support promotions and inventory orders.

The role requires stårting 18+, a high school diploma, CPR/AED certification, and strong communication. Flexibility for mornings/evenings/weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/AED certification required before working alone.
• Comfort standing for long periods.
• Great communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Must be team-oriented, motivated, and well-organized.
• Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions to problems proactively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and using a computer.
• Familiar with Excel’s mission, values, vision, and culture, as well as the Planet Fitness brand and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform to your best abilities during your assigned work shift.
• Monitor and maintain club cleanliness and atmosphere.
• Stay proficient in Planet Fitness mobile app use, content, and updates.
• Ensure that all proper training has been completed to operate safely and efficiently.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure the club is presentable and hold up to Excel standards.
• Perform club walkarounds and complete assigned cleaning or associated tasks along with re-inspecting said tasks.
• Audit and balance cash drawers daily.
• Input and update member information into tablets and POS.
• Ensure members adhere to policies and guidelines; address infractions.
• Provide a safe and secure environment for all members.
• Communicate with members and create a high level of member service.
• Stock retail and janitorial items for the following shift.
• Follow company standards and help resolve day-to-day member issues.
• Audit club inventory and communicate recommendations for inventory orders.
• Stay up to date on required certifications and training.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Promote, tour, and assist prospects and potential members.
• Assist GM and AM with member promotions, training, and operational strategies.
• Ensure compliance with laws and insurance requirements.
• Operate and assist members with equipment and amenities; ensure procedures are followed.
• Represent the company at community events and outreach activities.
