Job summary

Integrated Foot and Ankle Specialists is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist/Medical Assistant to support two providers in a busy podiatry practice. You will handle both clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a warm, efficient patient experience from check-in to check-out.

The role requires familiarity with EHR and medical terminology, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and medical terminology is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and direct queries in a professional and friendly manner.
• Coordinate patient flow: book, confirm, and reschedule appointments; manage check-in/check-out.
• Enter patient insurance and demographic information accurately; verify details.
• Scribe the objective and plan portions of encounter notes under the doctor’s direction.
• Assist with minor in-office procedures and educate patients on conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain inventory, supplies, equipment, and sterilization of instruments.
