Ideal candidates will:

  • Have a positive, upbeat, and outgoing attitude

  • Possess fitness industry experience (preferred)
  • Love continuous learning and growth

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing operations team to ensure adherence to policies and procedures
  • Hiring, training, and supervising front desk, Kids Club, and Housekeeping staff
  • Serving as liaison with Corporate Customer Care and assisting the General Manager with member and operational issues
  • Controlling cash deposits with GM approval, ensuring timely deposits
  • Coordinating with cleaning staff to maintain cleanliness standards
  • Managing membership cancellations and retention efforts
  • Addressing member concerns via Medallia
  • Overseeing payroll accuracy and submission
  • Enforcing club rules and policies
  • Ensuring proper staffing through application review and interviews
  • Handling membership inquiries and providing excellent hospitality
  • Leading by example and conducting weekly performance meetings

Must Haves:

  • Sound business judgment and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and listening skills
  • Delegation and organizational skills
  • Ability to create a positive environment
  • Willingness for self-development
  • Resourcefulness to improve operations
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills
  • College degree (preferred)
  • Current CPR certification

This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs, stand or walk for extended periods, and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in a clean uniform.
