Position Overview

The ideal Front Desk Coordinator is friendly, professional, and excels at delivering outstanding customer service, acting as the "Director of First Impressions" in our fast-paced clinic environment.

General Duties & Responsibilities
  • Handle front desk operations including answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, addressing inquiries, and forwarding requests.
  • Prepare patient paperwork before appointments.
  • Review and update patient information in EMA.
  • Verify insurance eligibility, payer sources, and prior authorizations.
  • Collect copays and balances at check-in/out.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience & Skills
  • 1-2 years experience in a medical office/clinic; dermatology or cosmetic experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical dermatology terms, CPT, ICD-10.
  • Strong communication and math skills.
  • Professional appearance and mannerisms.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Compassionate, caring, and able to prioritize tasks.
  • Experience with EMR systems is a plus.

Physical & Other Requirements
