Job summary

Proper Hospitality's Culver City property invites a hands-on Front Desk Supervisor to lead guest services, oversee check-in/check-out, and uphold service standards in a luxury hotel setting.

You'll mentor Front Desk Agents, manage shifts, train new hires, and ensure accurate reservations while maintaining a welcoming environment that reflects the brand's warmth and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• A degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus.
• Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent is required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory experience in hospitality or customer service.
• Experience with hotel reservation systems such as InforHMS or Alice.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm, welcoming check-in experience.
• Efficiently check in guests by verifying reservations, processing payments, and assigning rooms.
• Handle guest check-outs, ensuring charges are correct and guests depart satisfied.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and complaints, resolving issues to the guest's satisfaction.
• Provide information on hotel services, local attractions, and dining options.
• Supervise and lead a team of Front Desk Agents, scheduling shifts and ensuring staffing.
• Train and mentor new Front Desk Agents, upholding hotel policies and service standards.
• Oversee daily Front Desk operations and monitor room availability and requests.
• Conduct regular quality checks on Front Desk procedures and performance.
• Manage inventory of front desk supplies and coordinate ordering.
• Handle cash, card transactions, and posting charges accurately.
• Prepare reports on occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction metrics.
