We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to work as the Front Desk Lead Receptionist.

Job Description:

The Front Office Lead is responsible for supervising/leading front office activities/duties for their specific location. It is the Front Office Lead’s job to make sure the front office is flowing accordingly and making sure all patients are being taken care of. They oversee managing a group of medical staff that help patients, clients, and other visitors. They must make sure the front office keeps an accurate record of incoming patients and provides excellent customer service. The Front Office Lead will provide training to new staff and act as a mentor on topics such as how to respond to patient and prospective patients.

The Front Office Lead will help process paperwork, review forms for errors, and perform administrative tasks as needed. They assist with scheduling and visiting task and put together an order for office supplies when needed. The Front Office Lead will help make appointments as required by physicians and help with paperwork. In all tasks, the Front Office Lead must follow strict patient privacy procedures and maintain a friendly and professional working atmosphere. They also must help keep the front office area clean of clutter, dangerous objects and making sure everyone has done their part for cleaning.

In doing so, they will still be working their scheduled shifts just as the other front office staff does, and all other duties that may be assigned. A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this job. Front Office Leads must possess strong customer service skills and pay close attention to detail.

Front Office Lead, Medical Office Tasks:

· Ensure adherence to departmental policies and procedures, including patient privacy.

· Maintain departmental day-to-day front office operations, monitor and prioritize workflow and efficient patient flow.

· Resolve complex patient complaints, and answer questions regarding policies.

· Ensure services are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • High School graduate or equivalent required, Medical Receptionist Certificate a plus
  • 3-5 years of medical office receptionist experience; Medical Receptionist Certificate a plus
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the position
  • Computer literate with entry level working knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, coordinate, prioritize, and facilitate many on-going tasks at one time
  • Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or with a team
