Job summary

Twin Lakes Recovery Center in Monroe, Georgia is seeking an Intake Coordinator to manage front desk interactions, triage calls, pre-registration, and insurance verification, ensuring a welcoming first impression. You will conduct pre-admission assessments, coordinate with admissions and external partners, document activities in the CRM, and support smooth admissions for clients and their families.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's in related field preferred.
• One+ years' experience in healthcare admissions preferred; mental health or SUD background preferred.
• Experience in client assessment, referral, treatment planning, and external review coordination.
• Knowledge of community resources.
• Strong interpersonal, interviewing, and assessment skills; good telephone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-admission assessments.
• Interviews clients and families to confirm intake criteria.
• Engage referral sources for client support and business development.
• Responds to the needs of referred clients.
• Coordinate with departments for timely admissions.
• Documents daily all activities in the CRM and admissions paperwork.
• Verifies insurance benefits for private admissions.
• Screens referrals and arranges transportation.
• Maintains waiting list and contacts potential candidates.
