About The Role

We are seeking a Front Desk & Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team! In this role, you will assist the Rooms Division Manager in overseeing daily operations of the Front Desk and Housekeeping departments, including working shifts in each area. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, can supervise a team, report to management, and communicate effectively with guests. Bilingual Spanish/English skills are highly preferred.

  • Fulfill all duties of a hotel front desk agent and housekeeping attendant.
  • Follow instructions and procedures, taking guidance from superiors.
  • Supervise staff, including assigning duties, training, and coaching.
  • Handle guest reservations and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Monitor guest check-in, check-out, and cleaning procedures to ensure efficiency.
  • Assist the housekeeping department to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other hotel departments to meet guest needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in guest-facing and work areas.
  • Report details to management and delegate tasks effectively and respectfully.
  • Lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Be able to walk, kneel, reach, bend, feel, talk, see, hear, and stand for extended periods.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Motivate, train, and coach new staff.
  • Resolve guest billing discrepancies.
  • Participate in meetings on guest needs and department operations.
  • Handle payment transactions accurately with basic math skills.
  • Maintain attention to detail and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Address guest inquiries, questions, and concerns effectively.
  • Oversee employee scheduling to ensure shifts are covered.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and room assignments.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Rooms Manager.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Over 2 years of hotel experience or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Housekeeping experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel management software.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
