Job summary

Black Bear Diner in Bend, OR is seeking a friendly Server Support Team member to ensure guests enjoy a warm, positive dining experience. You will greet guests, assist with seating, manage waitlists, and help keep our dining areas spotless and guest-ready.

Responsibilities include stocking service stations, assisting servers, handling take-out orders, and processing payments accurately. A flexible schedule and team-oriented environment are offered by the Black Bear family.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating requests.
• Seat guests according to preferences and balance table flow.
• Manage waitlists with accurate estimates and call parties when tables are ready.
• Present menus and ensure tables are clean and guest-ready.
• Relay guest needs to servers and assist as needed.
• Maintain clean entrance, lobby, dining areas, and restrooms.
• Support servers by stocking service stations and clearing tables.
• Enter take-out orders into the POS and process payments accurately.
• Thank guests and invite them to return; complete assigned side work.
