Job summary

Pearl River Resort in Choctaw, MS is seeking a Front Desk and Bell Desk Supervisor to coordinate operations and ensure guest satisfaction. This on-site, full-time role requires leadership of Associates and adherence to hotel policies.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with supervisory/guest service experience preferred. Must be able to pass required testing and meet gaming license requirements for the property.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Associate’s degree or some college is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of supervisory or management experience is preferred; experience in a large scale hotel or resort is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of previous hotel or hospitality guest service experience is required.
• Must pass Basic Math, Keyboarding, and Data Entry tests as specified.
• Gaming property – must obtain and maintain a gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing Front Desk and Bell Desk operations to maximize guest service.
• Manage room inventory to maintain occupancy and ADR.
• Monitor check-ins/outs, billing discrepancies, and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain procedures for credit control, security of monies, and emergency procedures.
• Access and review player data, free night coupon availability and redemption.
• Monitor occupancy, arrival times, cancellations to ensure proper staffing.
• Run daily reports and other required reports.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure proper guest handling.
• Provide feedback on staff performance and training needs.
• Lead by example and maintain regular attendance.
