Job summary

The Front Desk Agent at SCP Hotels Laguna Beach will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering friendly service during check-in and check-out, and handling reservations and payments accurately.

You will maintain knowledge of hotel services, promote amenities, and collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience while upholding SCP’s culture and core values.

Qualifications

• Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English; fluency in other languages is beneficial.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must work in a fast-paced environment with urgency and empathy.
• Excellent coordination and multi-tasking abilities.
• Professional in appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to learn and use POS, PMS, CRM, and other hospitality software systems.
• General computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Able to interact well with guests, vendors, and team members.
• Ability to resolve problems and conflicts diplomatically.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage check-ins/check-outs accurately and efficiently.
• Process payments and handle guest accounts per company policies.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel features, services, hours, room types, and promotions.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide seamless guest service.
• Upsell hotel services and amenities to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk area and professional appearance.
