Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group in Virginia Beach is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Guest Service Representative to join our team. Greet guests, manage arrivals, and ensure a warm, seamless check-in experience in a fast-paced front desk environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in Front Desk Operations.
• In-depth knowledge of hotel Front Desk operations.
• Basic computer skills and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests on arrival with personal recognition.
• Reviews arrival lists and prepares welcome amenities.
• Escort VIPs to rooms and check them in prior to arrival.
• Answer the telephone promptly and assist or transfer as needed.
• Handle cash with proper procedures and report shortages.
• Keep front desk area clean and organized.
• Assist with lobby activation as needed.
• Protect guest PPI data and follow privacy protocols.
• Request identification and payment methods during check-in/out.
• Attend promptly to guest needs and inquiries.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
