Job summary

The Pozez Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia is seeking a friendly, professional Guest Services Associate for the main entrance desk. This part-time role focuses on greeting guests, answering inquiries, processing memberships, and maintaining a welcoming environment in a busy community center.

You will work weekend and evening shifts, approximately 10-20 hours per week, in person at our Fairfax, VA location, with pay of $17.00 per hour and an employee discount perk.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required and at least two years in customer service, reception, front desk, or similar public-facing roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong computer literacy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge members, guests, and visitors.
• Create a positive and memorable experience for all visitors.
• Answer phone calls and inquiries, directing them as needed.
• Maintain front desk supply inventory.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Assist new members with initial forms and onboarding.
• Assist current members with inquiries, paperwork, or membership information.
• Ensure entry security processes are followed.
• Process membership IDs.
• Collaborate with departments to share program information accurately.
• Print daily and weekend schedules.
• Perform tasks requested by management.
