Job summary

Kootenai Health is seeking a Front Desk/Guest Services role within the Davidson Family Hospitality Center. The position supports families, visitors, and volunteers by handling inquiries, check-ins, and general office duties, while maintaining a warm, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include managing the lobby, coordinating guest check-ins, keeping guest and donation records, and assisting hospital staff as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous experience in customer service, administrative support, or hospitality roles preferred.
• Ability to navigate escalated situations with a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic IT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the front desk and lobby to ensure cleanliness, organization, and a welcoming atmosphere.
• Greets visitors, families, volunteers, and donors and assists with inquiries, check-ins, and general support.
• Coordinates check-ins with guests in collaboration with Social Workers and other hospital staff.
• Maintains records of guest information, reservations, donations, and generates reports as required.
• Performs administrative tasks including phone and email correspondence.
