The role emphasizes strong customer service, POS operation, and teamwork within a dynamic hospital cafe setting, with opportunities to contribute to patient meals and employee services.

Qualifications

• Three years of customer service experience preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience with point of sale system operation in a retail environment preferred.
• Current Idaho Food Handlers Card or must obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Creative problem solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Supports customer throughput by creating fast and efficient retail transactions.
• Welcomes guests and provides information on café menu items and to-go offerings.
• Maintains cleanliness and product quality by stocking food and keeping customer areas clean and safe.
• Operates point of sale system and handles cash for retail transactions.
• Supports other Hospitality Services team members as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function.
