Job summary

LBA Hospitality is hiring a Guest Service Representative to support front-desk operations in a Houston property. You will welcome guests, check them in/out, process payments, and respond to inquiries while applying effective selling strategies to support hotel revenue.

The role may also serve as Manager on Duty when assigned, with opportunities to benefit from a quarterly bonus program, PTO, 401k with employer match, and DailyPay options.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or guest-relations experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple priorities professionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and check out guests while protecting privacy and accommodating requests.
• Manage reservations, room assignments, cancellations, and loyalty-program participation.
• Answer calls and provide accurate information about services and rates.
• Operate the property-management system to post charges, collect payments, and balance transactions.
• Promote hotel services and upsell future reservations and room options.
• Identify sales opportunities and share leads with the team.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and document recovery efforts.
• Communicate special requests across departments and shifts.
• Maintain a clean front-desk, lobby, and public areas.
• Assist housekeeping or F&B during peak times if needed.
