Job summary

Lido Beach Resort, Sarasota, seeks a Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests and manage check-ins/check-outs with poise. You will recognize VIPs, handle inquiries, and maintain accurate front desk records while coordinating with bell staff and other teams.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service, excellent communication, and conflict-resolution skills to diffuse tense situations and ensure a smooth guest experience. This on-site role supports our gulf‑side hospitality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Conflict resolution experience.
• Patience and good listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests upon arrival and making them feel welcome.
• Recognizing repeat, VIP status and/or loyalty.
• Administering check-ins and check-outs.
• Providing front desk services to guests.
• Assigning rooms and taking care of administrative duties.
• Delivering mail and messages.
• Processing guest payments.
• Coordinating with bell service and staff management.
• Being a source of information to guests on transport and restaurant options.
• Accommodating general and unique requests.
• Diffusing conflict or tense situations with guests.
• Proficient in HMS.
• Properly close out end of day.
• Ensure all numbers match across the board prior to importing them into the system.
