Job summary

Lido Beach Resort in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Host to join our Food & Beverage team. This hourly position offers $16-$17 per hour and provides benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k).

Join a premier beachfront resort with a focus on guest experience, convenient parking, and staff discounts. Prior hospitality experience is a plus, and strong phone etiquette is essential for greeting guests and taking reservations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required.
• Previous experience a plus.
• Must have courteous phone skills and the ability to take accurate messages.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests in a friendly and inviting manner
• Take reservations with the restaurant reservation system
• Engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion
• Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set waiting time quotes for guests
• Manage inventory of tables available
• Always sincerely thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return
• Other reasonable duties as assigned
• Communicate with wait staff and supervisors regarding availability of tables
• Communicate with supervisor any complaints or compliments
• Adhere to the rules and regulations of the company as defined in the employee handbook
• Always wear appropriate uniform provided by company policy
