Job summary

Hampton Charleston Southridge is seeking a Front Desk Guest Services Representative in Charleston, West Virginia. You will greet guests, check them in/out, manage reservations, and handle charges with accuracy. A strong team mindset and professional demeanor are essential.

Position is full-time and may require evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will work with our front office system, assist with same-day reservations, and ensure smooth guest experiences from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities

Greet and communicate cordially with guests, promptly and professionally checking them in and out of the hotel.
Assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary.
Post all charges accurately and promptly.
Maintain working knowledge of Front Office systems and daily transactions.
Handle cash, checks, and credit card information securely.
Review reservations with special requests and block rooms accordingly.
Know hotel rates, discounts, and applicable procedures.
Process same-day reservations and follow cancellation/relocation procedures.
