Job summary

Drybar Shops in Cary, NC seeks a friendly Front Desk Associate to be the first contact for guests, manage appointments, and ensure a smooth, premium Drybar experience. You’ll help guests feel welcomed, handle transactions, and support the retail team with product recommendations, all while maintaining a fast-paced, energetic environment.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year in customer service, a POS background, and a positive, solutions-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Open availability is required.
• 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced, customer-service-focused environment.
• Previous POS system experience strongly preferred.
• Salon or spa experience is a plus, but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work comfortably and effectively at a sustained, fast pace.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to multitask with ease and stay organized in a busy environment.
• Comfortable standing and/or walking for 6–8 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming experience for every client from the moment they arrive.
• Manage appointments, check-ins, check-outs, and transactions.
• Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
• Answer questions and help clients with their needs.
• Resolve issues using sound judgment and available resources.
• Support retail sales and help clients discover products that complement their Drybar experience.
• Multitask effectively while maintaining a high level of service.
• Maintain a professional, positive demeanor—even during busy periods.
• Work collaboratively with the salon team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
