Job summary

Drybar Shops in Cary, NC seeks a friendly Front Desk Associate to be the first contact for guests, manage appointments, and ensure a smooth, premium Drybar experience. You’ll help guests feel welcomed, handle transactions, and support the retail team with product recommendations, all while maintaining a fast-paced, energetic environment.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year in customer service, a POS background, and a positive, solutions-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Open availability is required.
• 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced, customer-service-focused environment.
• Previous POS system experience strongly preferred.
• Salon or spa experience is a plus, but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work comfortably and effectively at a sustained, fast pace.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to multitask with ease and stay organized in a busy environment.
• Comfortable standing and/or walking for 6–8 hour shifts.

You’re someone who is naturally friendly, organized, solutions-oriented, and passionate about customer service. You bring energy to the front desk and enjoy making people feel welcome.

Qualifications

• Open availability is required

• 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced, customer-service-focused environment, such as:

  • Sales Associate

  • Retail Sales Associate

  • Customer Service Representative

  • Store Associate

  • Salon Associate

  • Or a similar customer-facing role

• Previous point-of-sale (POS) system experience strongly preferred

• Previous salon or spa experience is a plus, but not required

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to work comfortably and effectively at a sustained, fast pace

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service

• Ability to multitask with ease and stay organized in a busy environment

• Comfortable standing and/or walking for the duration of 6–8 hour shifts

• Technical ability and confidence using point-of-sale systems and other front desk technology

• Strong judgment and resourcefulness when resolving client or front desk issues

• Ability to remain professional, positive, and composed under pressure
