Qualifications

• 0-2 years related experience or training preferred.
• Experience handling multiple phone lines preferred.
• Strong customer service skills required.
• Strong organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and maintain a smooth flow at the front desk.
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls per National Vision protocol.
• Process and understand managed care plans while obtaining insurance documents as needed.
• Provide customers with basic and accurate information.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, follow-ups, and classes.
• Files patient records daily and prepare for the next day’s appointments.
• Check order status and notify customers of delays or readiness.
• Keep the reception area tidy and stocked with needed materials.
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries and manage office supplies inventory.
• Attend mandatory communications meetings.
