HEI Hotels and Resorts at the Sheraton Orlando Lake Buena Vista Resort is seeking a helpful guest services professional to assist guests during arrival and departure, ensuring a positive experience in a busy environment.

You will greet guests, input information, process payments, promote brand programs, and manage room keys while delivering courteous service and resolving issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Calculator skills for moderately complex math.
• Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers with diplomacy.
• Ability to stand and move throughout front office.
• Ability to input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; adapt to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly and sincere welcome.
• Input and retrieve information from the computer system, confirming guest details.
• Promote HEI Hotels and Resorts and brand marketing programs.
• Make room selections based on guest needs and code electronic keys.
• Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization; handle payments.
• Balance the house bank and process vouchers, traveler’s checks, and other payments.
• Assist with currency exchange at current posted rates.
• Resolve guest issues calmly and promptly to ensure satisfaction.
