Job summary

Loews Arlington Hotel is seeking a friendly Front Office Agent to warmly greet guests, check them in and out, and ensure a seamless arrival experience in a vibrant sports district.

In this fast-paced hotel role, you will assign rooms, process payments, promote our services and local attractions, respond to inquiries, and support event bookings while upholding the Loews standard of hospitality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year guest service experience in hotel hospitality.
• Experience with Opera Property Management System preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a seamless arrival experience.
• Assign rooms that meet guest preferences and special requests.
• Obtain and verify credit and payment information in accordance with hotel policies.
• Promote hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Maintain knowledge of upcoming events, group bookings, and banquet orders.
• Perform check-out procedures and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Front Desk and lobby area.
• Handle emergencies with professionalism, prioritizing guest and team member safety.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
• Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
