Job summary

Bowling Green State University’s SRC seeks a part-time student employee to provide customer service at the Welcome Desk. You will greet patrons, sell memberships and registrations, process transactions, locker rentals, and court reservations, while enforcing rules and maintaining safety.

You’ll perform maintenance duties, support events outside normal hours, and document incidents as needed, all while delivering friendly, professional service.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required.
• Must be able to perform general maintenance and custodial duties.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including special events.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patrons, sell membership passes and program registrations.
• Perform and reconcile sales transactions (cash handling) and process locker rentals.
• Process court reservations and operate various computer applications.
• Enforce SRC rules, monitor safety, and respond to incidents as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive rapport with patrons.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and trainings; assist with events as needed.
