Job summary

The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center - Chicago is seeking a Welcome Desk Attendant to assist at the front desk and provide first-rate guest services. Responsibilities include processing sales in the POS system, handling cash, and keeping the reception area neat, secure, and safe while supporting center operations and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service experience with data entry duties.
• Experience with a computer-based work environment.
• Familiarity with web-based and smartphone applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests at the Welcome Desk with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Input sales and data into the POS system and manage cash drawer.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the front desk area and assist with safety and basic reporting.
