Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Indianapolis is seeking a friendly, detail‑oriented Receptionist to join our detox and residential facility. You will greet visitors, manage phones, handle mail, and support daily operations in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least 1 year in the treatment industry, strong communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in the treatment industry preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year sobriety is required.
• Strong communication, organization and multitasking skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accountability at all times.

Responsibilities

• Greet, process, and direct visitors and answer questions.
• Monitor phones, voicemail, and route calls and messages.
• Handle incoming/outgoing mail and shipments (UPS, Amazon).
• Maintain reception area inventory and cleanliness.
• Maintain pharmacy copay log and record payments.
• Perform administrative errands and other duties as assigned.
