Job summary

Helio Health in Syracuse is seeking a dedicated Receptionist for the inpatient program. The role delivers professional customer service to clients and staff, handling calls, directing visitors, mail, and essential clerical duties. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with pay up to $18.43/hour.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/Equivalency.
• One year of administrative/clerical experience.
• Knowledge of office procedure and clerical skills.
• Ability to perform duties independently.
• Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
• Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to ask for advice and assistance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and direct to appropriate staff.
• Greet and direct visitors to the program.
• Process mail and requisition supplies.
• Assist with office duties and file management.
• Coordinate express mail pickups and deliveries.
• Support ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution of supplies.
• Perform photocopying, faxing, filing and related clerical tasks.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
