Job summary

The Benson Hotel & Faculty Club, part of Sage Hospitality Group on the UC Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, seeks a Front Desk Associate who can work nights, weekends, and holidays. Open to all availabilities; applications open until 09/16/2026 or until filled.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, managing reservations, processing check-ins/check-outs, handling payments, and addressing inquiries with a professional, courteous demeanor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Cash handling procedures knowledge and experience with computerized cash registers.
• Fluent in oral and written English.
• Able to read written communications and operate standard computer screens.
• Capable of using computer, calculator and telephone keyboards for cash handling and paperwork.
• Able to follow verbal/written instructions, multitask, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and complete check-in procedures using manual/computer methods.
• Process guest check-out and close accounts to prepare rooms for the next guest.
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy and maintain hotel records.
• Answer inquiries and accept reservations by phone or in person using rate information and upsell techniques.
• Operate PBX, schedule wake-up calls, and route calls to provide timely service.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous demeanor at all times.
