Job summary

The Benson Hotel & Faculty Club in Aurora, Colorado is seeking a courteous banquet server to support event service at The Benson. The role requires open availability for nights, weekends, and holidays and involves serving guests, setting up banquet stations, and keeping service areas orderly.

Applicants should have a high school education and at least 3 months of similar experience, with basic knowledge of customer service and food service operations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide friendly, accurate service and handle restaurant and kitchen operations.
• Basic knowledge of customer service principles and food service functions.
• Read and interpret BEOs and follow setup procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read BEO and complete set-up.
• Set tables in assigned area correctly and neatly.
• Greet and serve guests following service policies.
• Handle guest checks and cash transactions per procedures.
• Complete assigned sidework and maintain a clean station.
• Work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
