Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Front Desk Agent at Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. You will warmly welcome guests, manage check-in/check-out, handle reservations and inquiries, and resolve issues to ensure a memorable guest experience.

The role requires a high school diploma and 6+ months in guest service, with strong English communication, cash handling, and computer skills. Expect a fast-paced environment with flexible hours and opportunities to grow within the Marcus portfolio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months previous work experience in a guest service position required, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Able to work independently, has good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergencies.
• Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and the ability to work under pressure.
