We are looking for a warm and friendly individual with high standards who enjoys creating memorable experiences and providing exceptional guest service. Ideal candidates have prior experience in guest service, Front Desk, Reservations, problem solving, and guest recovery. They have been top performers in their previous roles and are excited to help make a place like the Lodge even more special for our guests. We welcome career-oriented candidates.

Qualifications

Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities

  • Provide our guests with respect, compassion, and the best in service
  • Excellent written, verbal and computer skills
  • Assists guests with requests and/or complaints
  • Handle check-ins/check-outs and make guest room keys for lost/lock-outs.
  • Comply with housekeeping policies and procedures.
  • Possess guest recovery skills
  • Post charges to Property Management System.
  • Handle lost and found items by following established guidelines and procedures.
  • Complete department/shift checklists and/or reports for relevant shifts.
  • Maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Work safely to avoid injuries and accidents, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment.
  • When finding unsafe conditions and maintenance concerns, address them immediately by turning in maintenance Service Requests.
Competencies/Required Skills and Abilities
  • Prior front desk/reservations or similar experience
  • Prior experience in Property Management Systems
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
  • Ability to meet consistent attendance.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with colleagues, supervisors and guests face to face.
  • Excited about creating a warm family atmosphere for guests & staff while maintaining high standards

Work environment and Physical demands
  • The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
  • Frequent walking, twisting, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, sitting, climbing stairs.
  • Ability to stand and move continuously.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds maximum.
  • Occasional twisting, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, sitting, climbing stairs.
  • Ability to work overnight, and possibly other hours and shifts.
Details
  • Full time position available immediately
  • Room and board available for fixed weekly cost both Onsite and Offsite
  • Regular schedule with specific days off will be established
  • Healthcare benefits available after 90 days
  • 401K eligible with company match after 1 year
