Job summary

Touchstone Climbing is hiring a Front Desk teammate at our Torrance gym. This part-time role (no more than 30 hours per week) is the friendly, in-person face of the club, greeting members, answering questions, processing memberships, and keeping the gym running smoothly.

You\'ll join a supportive team, contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for climbers of all levels, and enjoy benefits like a free gym membership and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
• Passion for climbing and knowledge of climbing terminology and safety practices.
• Ability to stay friendly and calm with customers in various situations.
• Comfortable with computers and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, check waivers, and enforce gym policies.
• Answer calls and respond to emails at the front desk.
• Process memberships and online transactions.
• Manage calendar reservations.
• Provide merchandise guidance in the shop.
• Maintain safety standards and a clean gym.
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive environment.
