Planet Fitness, a private equity-backed fitness retailer, is seeking candidates for the role of Front Desk Associate. The Front Desk Associate is a friendly and courteous individual who delivers excellent service, fosters customer satisfaction and loyalty, and promotes the Ignite Fitness Holdings-Planet Fitness Mission, Vision, and Values. The role requires balancing multiple tasks with a friendly demeanor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Welcome and exit members professionally and courteously.
  • Respond promptly to members' needs and acknowledge all members.
  • Provide efficient telephone service, answering calls knowledgeably and promptly.
  • Resolve customer concerns using strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the club for up to 50% of the shift.
  • Deliver prompt, accurate customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accept payments from customers, give change and receipts.
  • Promote products and special offers to drive revenue.
  • Answer customer questions regarding policies and procedures clearly and customer-friendly.
Minimum Skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong work ethic with decision-making and problem resolution skills.
  • Initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Flexible with rotating schedules.
  • Excellent customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and hardworking.
  • Physical ability to talk, hear, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least six months of face-to-face customer service experience in retail or one year in fitness preferred.
Hours

Initial training hours may vary. Discuss your availability with the Hiring Manager or note it on your application. Hours include weekdays and weekends, with flexible or open availability preferred.

  • Monday: 5:00am - 9:00am
  • Tuesday: 5:00am - 9:00am
  • Wednesday: 5:00am - 9:00am
  • Thursday: 5:00am - 9:00am
  • Friday: 5:00am - 9:00am
  • Saturday: OFF
  • Sunday: OFF
