Job summary

WoofHaus, part of Digs Dog Care, is a boutique dog care facility in Denver's Platt Park area seeking a part-time Front Desk Associate to welcome clients and pups, answer questions, and ensure smooth daily operations.

You will take bookings for grooming, daycare, overnights, enrichment and K9 massage, check dogs in and out, handle payments, and collaborate with the back-of-house team. Weekend availability is a plus, and benefits begin after probation with 401(k) eligibility at 90 days.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience in pet care or service industries.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to workflows.

Responsibilities

• Answering the phone professionally and responding to emails.
• Taking and booking reservations for grooming, daycare, overnights, enrichment and K9 massage.
• Checking dogs in and out and taking payments.
• Organizing paperwork for new clients and maintaining lobby area.
• Regular communication with back-of-house team members.
• Some physical labor (working with dogs), weekend availability.

Woofhaus part of Digs Dog Care, and is a boutique dog daycare, kennel-free overnights, enrichment + grooming facility located in the Platt Park area of Denver. We are looking for a part-time Front Desk Associate to meet and greet our incredible clientele, greet the pups and ensure all questions are answered!

What the job entails:

• Commitment to the welfare of our clients

• Taking and booking reservations for both grooming, daycare, overnights, enrichment and K9 massage

• Working with the pet industry specific program 'Goose'

• Making calls to vets to obtain vaccination records
• Cleaning inside of lobby area and front entrance area outside
• Willingness to learn and continue education about the industry & dogs
• Note: this position requires a fair amount of walking
