The ideal candidate: has strong attention to detail, excellent recall and follow-up skills, and can multitask while maintaining a positive attitude. If you possess a problem-solving mindset and a desire to improve, this role is perfect for you!

The Front Desk Associate is responsible for assisting guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally, maintaining high standards of service and hospitality.

  1. Provide high-quality service to guests at all times.
  2. Greet and register guests, assign rooms, and accommodate special requests when possible. Assist with pre-registration and reservations.
  3. Handle guest check-ins and checkouts efficiently and professionally.
  4. Ensure all cash, check, and miscellaneous transactions are balanced at the end of each shift, following proper cash handling procedures.
  5. Inform Housekeeping of special requests, late checkouts, and other needs.
  6. Receive and transmit mail, phone, and written messages for guests.
  7. Answer inquiries about hotel services, shopping, dining, entertainment, and directions.
  8. Post charges, compute bills, collect payments, and make change following company policies.
  9. Maintain a neat, clean, and safe Front Desk area.
  10. Know hotel property details, staff, services, rates, discounts, and policies.
  11. Understand and promote brand loyalty programs and current promotions.
  12. Maintain proper telephone etiquette.
  13. Develop knowledge of emergency procedures.
  14. Drive the hotel shuttle when required.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Desire to exceed guest expectations.
  2. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  3. Dependability.
  4. Computer proficiency.
  5. High school diploma or equivalent.
  6. Availability to work weekends and holidays.
