Job summary

The American Club, a Kohler property, seeks a Front Desk Agent to deliver friendly, professional guest services at the registration desk. You will handle check-ins/outs, cashiering, reservations, and information, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth guest experience.

Shifts run from early morning to late evening with weekend coverage required. Knowledge of Fidelio and hospitality operations is a plus; strong communication and customer-service focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work independently with professionalism and focus on customer service.
• Tolerate being on their feet for the majority of the day.
• Strong written and oral communication skills helpful.
• Previous guest service experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Register guests in and out using Fidelio PMS.
• Provide prompt, courteous guest service at registration, cashiering, reservations and information.
• Prepare guest folios, cards and program room keys.
• Handle all monetary transactions per SOP.
• Know facilities hours and local attractions.
• Manage guest complaints professionally.

Opportunity

Join our guest services team, the heartbeat of our business and the warmth our guests remember long after their stay.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing prompt, courteous and professional guest service in the functions of registration, guest departure, cashiering, reservations and information.
• Registering guests in and out of Fidelio property management system.
• Blocking guest rooms, preparing guest folios, guest cards, and programming room keys.
• Handling all money transactions at the front desk following standard operating procedures.
• Having knowledge of food and beverage facilities and hours of operation.
• Posting and recording hotel gift certificates.
• Being knowledgeable about property and surrounding area, local attractions and shopping services.
• Adhering to established safety procedures and guidelines.
• Handling guest complaints.

This is a full-time position at The American Club. Shifts will vary between 6:00am and 10:00pm. Weekends are required.

Skills/Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to apply

The hourly range for this position is $14.50 - $21.70. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
