Job summary

The American Club in Kohler, WI is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver prompt, courteous guest service at check-in and check-out, handle reservations, cashiering, and information.

You will register guests in Fidelio PMS, block rooms, prepare folios, program keys, and manage guest accounts while maintaining knowledge of dining facilities and local attractions. This full-time role requires weekend shifts, standing for long periods, and authorization to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work independently with professionalism and customer focus.
• Must be able to stand for majority of shift.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are helpful.
• Previous guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check-in and check-out guests with courtesy and efficiency.
• Register guests in Fidelio PMS; handle reservations and information.
• Block rooms, prepare folios, program keys, and manage guest accounts.
• Handle all monetary transactions following SOPs.
• Maintain knowledge of dining facilities, hours, and local attractions.

Front Desk Agent, The American Club

Location: Kohler, WI

Specific Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, courteous and professional guest service in the functions of registration, guest departure, cashiering, reservations and information.
• Registering guests in and out of Fidelio property management system.
• Blocking guest rooms, preparing guest folios, guest cards, and programming room keys.
• Handling all money transactions at the front desk following standard operating procedures.
• Having knowledge of food and beverage facilities and hours of operation.
• Posting and recording hotel gift certificates.
• Being knowledgeable about property and surrounding area, local attractions and shopping services.
• Adhering to established safety procedures and guidelines.
• Handling guest complaints.

This is a full-time position at The American Club. Shifts will vary between 6:00am and 10:00pm. Weekends are required.

Skills/Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• The ability to work independently with professionalism while maintaining a focus on quality and customer service
• Candidate must tolerate being on their feet for the majority of the day
• Strong written and oral communication skills helpful
• Previous Guest Service experience preferred

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The hourly range for this position is $14.50 - $21.70. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
