Job summary

Kohler Hospitality in Kohler, Wisconsin is seeking a Front Desk Guest Services Associate to welcome guests, handle check-in/check-out, and provide information to ensure a memorable stay.

The role requires standing for much of the day, accurate cash handling, and basic Fidelio PMS usage. Weekend shifts and flexible hours are part of the schedule to support guest needs.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience at a hotel or similar setting.
• Ability to work independently with a professional demeanor.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous guest service for registration, checkout, reservations, and information.
• Register guests in Fidelio PMS and manage room blocks and keys.
• Process payments following SOPs and handle guest inquiries and complaints.

Join our guest services team, the heartbeat of our business and the warmth our guests remember long after their stay.

Specific Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, courteous and professional guest service in the functions of registration, guest departure, cashiering, reservations and information.
• Registering guests in and out of Fidelio property management system.
• Blocking guest rooms, preparing guest folios, guest cards, and programming room keys.
• Handling all money transactions at the front desk following standard operating procedures.
• Having knowledge of food and beverage facilities and hours of operation.
• Posting and recording hotel gift certificates.
• Being knowledgeable about property and surrounding area, local attractions and shopping services.
• Adhering to established safety procedures and guidelines.
• Handling guest complaints.

This is a full-time position at The American Club. Shifts will vary between 6:00am and 10:00pm. Weekends are required.

Skills/Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• The ability to work independently with professionalism while maintaining a focus on quality and customer service
• Candidate must tolerate being on their feet for the majority of the day
• Strong written and oral communication skills helpful
• Previous Guest Service experience preferred

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The hourly range for this position is $14.50 - $21.70. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
