Job summary

Days Inn by Wyndham San Antonio Airport is seeking two Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor team members for weekend and overnight coverage. You will greet guests, check them in/out, handle reservations, and manage nightly financials with accuracy.

You should be dependable, able to work independently overnight, and comfortable using PMS systems such as SynXis. Bilingual skills are a plus; excellent customer service and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel/front desk experience preferred.

Front Desk Agent / Night Auditor

Join our hospitality team as a Front Desk Agent / Night Auditor and help us provide a welcoming, safe, and comfortable experience for our guests.

We are currently seeking TWO reliable and customer-focused Front Desk Agent / Night Auditors to work evening shifts and overnight shifts.

Schedule:

• Option 1: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights (8:00PM to 8:00AM).
• Option 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (3:00PM to 11:00PM) and Friday (12:00PM to 8:00PM).
• Overnight/night audit shifts.
• Part-time weekend position.
• Must be dependable and able to consistently work all three scheduled nights.
• Additional shifts may be available when the hotel needs coverage. These potential shifts may be offered to the selected candidate based on staffing needs and availability.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests warmly and handle all front desk operations with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Check guests in and out and assist with reservations, room assignments, payments, and guest requests.
• Use hotel property management systems (PMS), such as SynXis or similar platforms.
• Perform the nightly audit by reconciling daily financial transactions, preparing reports, and verifying guest billing and account settlements.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of hotel transactions, guest requests, and overnight incidents.
• Answer phones and assist guests with questions about hotel amenities, services, local attractions, and directions.
• Resolve guest concerns and service issues promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address room readiness, maintenance concerns, and late-night guest requests.
• Monitor the property during overnight hours and help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures, safety protocols, and incident-reporting requirements.
• Communicate important overnight information to the management and day-shift team.
• Assist with bilingual or multilingual guest communication when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.
• Complete all required overnight reports and prepare the property for the morning shift.

Qualifications:

• Previous hotel, resort, hospitality, or front desk experience preferred.
• Previous night audit experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS), such as SynXis or similar systems, preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly when handling financial transactions and reports.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours.
• Dependable and punctual, with a strong commitment to working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.
• Ability to remain professional, alert, and helpful throughout the overnight shift.
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is desirable.
• Previous experience with hotel reservation systems and front desk functions is preferred.
• Bilingual or multilingual communication skills are a plus.
