Job summary

Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort, part of Columbia Hospitality, is seeking a Front Desk Agent (Full-Time) to manage guest check-in/check-out, handle room credits and keys, and resolve guest questions with care. You’ll support the Front Office team with service excellence across our mountain resort.

Ideal candidates have hospitality or customer service background, experience with POS systems, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
  • Cash handling and POS familiarity required or preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Handle guest check-in and check-out per hotel procedures.
  • Be proficient with the property management system (PMS).
  • Operate PBX and radio paging as needed.
  • Issue room keys and explain hotel services to guests.
  • Address guest issues with discretion and professionalism; consult management when needed.
  • Follow up with guests and teammates to ensure satisfaction.
  • Make restaurant, transportation, activity, or entertainment reservations for guests.

What Success Looks Like:
Your Impact
  • Possesses a working knowledge of the front desk, efficiently handling the check-in and checkout processes according to hotel procedures and standards.
  • Be knowledgeable and proficient with the property management system.
  • Operate the PBX and Radio paging system according to procedures.
  • Establishes appropriate credit at time of guest check-in; issues room keys and familiarizes guests with the services and areas of the property.
  • Manages guest issues effectively, keeping in mind both the guest’s needs and business objectives.
  • Use discretion and professionalism in resolving guest conflicts and use good judgement to consult with management if assistance or follow-up is needed.
  • Conduct adequate follow-up with both guest and fellow team members.
  • Makes restaurant, transportation, activity, or entertainment reservations on behalf of the guest.
What You Bring
  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in cash handling & computerized Point of Sale system preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
